Proficiency Test |

The proficiency test will be comprehensive. No make-up exams can be given unless in a dire situation. |

Oral Test |

In addition to the four written exams, there will be one oral test which covers material from MyET.Before attending the oral test, you are required to obtain a passing score of an average of 80 from appointed lesson units in MyET. |

Quizzes |
10% |
There will be a quiz in the beginning of each class. The quiz will cover the material you are responsible for the week. Failing to participate in a quiz will be considered as being absent from the class unless medical proof of illness is provided the week after. For each skipped class, 10% of the grade will be taken off from the relevant phase exam. |

Assignments |
10% |
Homework assignments will be due in class on the due date. Students should turn in the assignments typed on A4 paper, 1.5 spaced, and in 12-point. There will be two assignments given in each phase during this semester. |
5. |
Tell Me More |
15% |
There will be 12 different topics provided throughout the whole term. You are required to obtain a passing score of at least 400 for any six among the 12 topics. To encourage practicing, you will get one extra point added to your final grade for each optional extra topic done. |
6. |
Phase 1 Exam |
15% |
There will be three phase exams during this term and one proficiency test at the end. The three phase exams will cover material assigned for each phase in the course, including the textbooks and the online assignments. |
